    We got an X4 probe at the end of July and fished with it in Lake Michigan several times a week through October without having to replace the batteries! The signal sent to our 840 display was always rock steady, even well below 100 feet. It is a tremendous improvement, and a money-saver.

    Upgraded old probe with new X4 last year. All I can say is thank you. Great product. My question now is can I replace the 840 display with the X4 display without changing the 840-3 triducer? Superb battery life and rock solid readings beyond 150’.Thanks.
